Vinnie is co-supervised with Isabelle Lavoie at INRS, and is working on the integration of climate change into Marine Protected Area (MPA) management plans as well as species distribution models for marine species. Through this work he hopes to be able to help the Ascension Island MPA become a world leader amongst Large Scale Marine Protected Areas in developing a “climate-smart” management plan for the coming decades.
